ELIGIBILITY: "Connecting People with Government Essay Contest" is open to all official employees of municipal and county governments in the 50 United States.

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in this contest constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these OFFICIAL RULES and to all Administrator (Mitchell Humphrey) decisions.
CONTEST TIMING:
Contest entries received by 11:59 pm on Friday, May 28, 2010 will be accepted.
Entry judging will take place the week of Monday, May 31 through Friday, June 4, 2010.
Grand Prize winner and Top Finalists selected will be notified during the week of Monday, June 7 through Friday, June 11, 2010.
SUBMISSION LIMIT: Submissions are limited to one (1) for each municipal or county government.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Essay portion of each entry is limited to a maximum of 500 characters.
JUDGING: Judging of entries will be based on creativity, potential value to citizens, and organizational commitment to the program and is solely the responsibility of Mitchell Humphrey.
